Andrei Pavel (ROM) vs (8) Max Mirnyi (BLR)
Thursday, July 13th, 2006 14:00
Tennis - ATP

Pick:  Max Mirnyi   Result: Pending
Stake:  5/10   Odds:  1.83
Bookmaker:  Betfair   vCash: No
Posted: Jul 13, 2006, 00:17

I like Mirnyi´s odd. He is in grea form in all surfaces (good in Hamburgo, win RG in doubles, good in Wimbledon...). But i really like that he decides to play here than in Newport (where he´s play is better because of grass). If he has decided coming here is because he is ambitious and wanna win him (motivation is important). His opponent ok, won Wawrinka but in 3 sets so Mirnyi should win him in 2...

(1) Andy Murray (GBR) vs (WC) Samuel Querrey (USA)

Pick:  Querrey makes 1 set   Result: Pending
Stake:  3/10   Odds:  2.05
Bookmaker:  Betfair   vCash: No

Murray showd me yesterday that the lost against Baghdatis in Wimbledon affect him pshically. Best opportunity for do something great in Wimbledon is difficult to have, and he lost in 3 sets. Mello have match points yestday and if he do not win the match is because is stupid. Querrey is in great form, winning in Yuba City y Winnetka. He win in 2 sets Udumchoke.

(8) Juan Carlos Ferrero (ESP) vs Olivier Marach (A    -2

Pick:  Marach win 1 set   Result: 2:0
Stake:  2/10   Odds:  2.75

Eleksovik winning him one set? Pathetic. He is out pshsically as he showed against Stepanek in Wimbledon and against Gaudio in RG. I hope that Marach makes one set, but he is not in great form. He lost one set against Prpic, but we have one semifinals in a challenguer

Ruben Ramirez-Hildalgo (ESP) vs (6) Feliciano Lope
Wednesday, July 12th, 2006 15:30
Tennis - ATP

Pick:  Feliciano Lopez   Result: Pending
Stake:  2/10   Odds:  2.04
Bookmaker:  Betfair   vCash: No

Ruben is much better player in clay and comes winning Ferrer in RG, but in grass courts lost both matches against Azzaro y Mirnyi. Feliciano is the opposite. He is in grea form achivieng quarterfinals in Nottingham and playing well against Ljubo in Wimbledon. He is back in atp courts as he showed against a clay courter like Volandri. H2H 2-0 for Feliciano, both matches in clay.

(3) Tomas Berdych (CZE) vs Nicolas Almagro (ESP)    -3
Tuesday, July 11th, 2006 11:00
Tennis - ATP

Pick:  Tomas Berdych   Result: 0:2
Stake:  3/10   Odds:  2.30
Bookmaker:  Betfair   vCash: No

OK, Almagro has done a great year in clay, but is out of form. In Portschach lost agains Potito (...), in RG in second round against Blake (that is poor player in clay than him) and in grass could not win any match against Ancic (OK) and Bracciali (i think that he must win him...) . Berdych comes perfect. Last matches in clay were great winning in Dusseldorf Kiefer, Volandri y Nalbandian (bufff), in RG Federer win him in 1/8 and he had not lost any set before Federer. In Halle Federer stop him again in the final (and he win him one set) and in Wimbledon lost against... Federer again. If he do not meet Federer this 3 tournaments he probable would finish in better rounds.

Jose Acasuso (ARG) vs (7) Guillermo Coria    -1
Tuesday, July 11th, 2006 12:15
Tennis - ATP

Pick:  Guillermo Coria   Result: 2:1
Stake:  1/10   Odds:  2.44
Bookmaker:  Betfair   vCash: No
Posted: Jul 10, 2006, 23:39

Coria get lost in RG and Wimbledon because of an injury in the elbow and if he is playing here is because he is again able to play. Acasuso do not a nice RG where he lost against Dlouhly and Santoro force him to fifth set and Santoro is not a clay player and Acasuso was coming in greaf form. He do not play Wimbledon. I hope that Coria has returned for making the great tennis that he was able to make...

Fernando Vicente (ESP) vs Christophe Rochus (BEL)    -2
Tuesday, July 11th, 2006 11:15
Tennis - ATP

Pick:  Fernando Vicente   Result: 1:2
Stake:  2/10   Odds:  2.24

Rochus comes of doing idiot last weeks. In the last 6 matches just win 2 against Tojo in RG (and Tojo win him 2 sets...) and Choripan in clay (nothing). He lost against Chiudinelli without winning any set (...). Vicente do not come in great form, lost agains Ferrero in first round in Wimbledon but comes of doing a final in Braunschweig. I hope that Rochus do not motivate too much and makes one Rochusada and go for more holidays...

Stanislas Wawrinka (SUI) vs Andrei Pavel (ROM)    +2.6

Too much odd for Waw. Before Wimbledon he had 5 stright loses in first round and it is valuated too much wins over Karlovic (injured) and Calleri in Wimbledon. Pavel was not really brilliant losing in second round in Halle and Wimbledon, but he has won Baghdatis and lost against him because of a injury in the back. If he is here is because it is ready to play again (2 weeks). I hope that would play nice tennis and repet a tournament like Portschach where he arrived final.

Italia - Francia    +2.8

And other time that i go against France. Losing would be the third time that France fuck me, but i think that this odd it is interesting.

Italy is extramotivated. It is playing like they always do, playing defense with Buffon, Zambrotta or Materazzi. And they have attacking players like Totti and Luca Toni that could make goals easyly and in the bench Gilardino. Players have in the air what the ministry said hours ago, he said that if italy win the WC it would be bad to reward them forcing Milan, Juventus, etc. to go down to serie B or C. Around 10 players of these teams are in Italy and they are important players (zambrotta, buffon, gilardino, gattuso, pirlo...).

France has arrived here winning the 2 best teams in the first round, España y Brasil, and winning Portugal that was very solid. Zidane will say goodbye to football after this match and same situation have Vieira, Makelele, Zidane, Thuram, Barthez... but just to internacional matches.

They are two teams very solid in defence and a draw will be the most probable option. Italy just get 1 GC and France just 2 (one of penalty). Under is value.

(1) Roger Federer vs (2) Rafael Nadal    +4.62
Sunday, July 09th, 2006 15:00
Tennis - ATP

Pick:  5 sets (4 sets 50%)   Result: 3:1
Stake:  7/10   Odds:  2.33

Roger Federer

Federer is best in grass. He comes winning really nice players like Ancic, Gasquet, Henman, Berdych... and he does not lost any set. Just one player (Mahut) has lost in the tie break. He comes really rested because in semifinals Bjorkman was not a rival.

The doubt is if Federer played bad in Halle because:

* He was bad fisically because of playing before in RG.
* He was bad pshically after lose one more time against Nadal.

His service it is being so well that just Ancic has broken it. He has solved 6 break points. Bjorkman could not get any break point.

Rafael Nadal.

40 years later a spanish in the final of Wimbledon. It is said that he beat poor players thanks of eliminatons of Hewitt and Roddick. So he has not lost any set (just Kendick 2). The match against Kendrick makes him to react and he has not been in danger in any other match.

His pshically has been so strong that has saved 16 break points with just 2 times that has lost it. He serve well that Agassi and Labadze do not have break points. They are not good rivalsbut it is posittive.

And the H2H is 6-1 for Nadal. The match that Federer won was 2-0 in sets for Nadal, so Federer has a really difficult match. Nadal has won 18 sets and Federer just 9 de Federer.

Nadal said:

Originalmente publicado por AS.com
"Podría ser que el partido vaya igualado, es importante que haya presión. Yo igual tengo mis opciones, y aunque se me vaya, es importante que él sienta que yo estoy ahí en todo momento".

The match will be long and my pick is that will finish in 5 sets but if it finish in 4 sets we get the half of the benefits.
